The Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority is excited to announce our first Coyote Valley photo contest. As a part of the in-progress Coyote Valley Conservation Area Master Plan (CVCAMP) we’re looking for photos that reveal the many unique aspects of this important conservation landscape’s open spaces. Photo contest winners will receive a $100 gift card to REI and have their photos featured with credit in upcoming Open Space Authority events and publications. Click here to learn more!
I have come to love our open spaces, clean water, and land set aside for native plants and animals. I'm so excited to see this important corridor preserved!
As a resident of Santa Teresa for 37 years I have regularly traveled through Coyote Valley and hoped this beautiful valley would always be preserved as open space. I support the farmers by buying locally grown fruits and vegetables.
When I drop out of south San Jose and into Coyote Valley, it is an absolutely stunning view. It nearly takes my breath away. This exists? I am immediately transformed into another world... that becomes the absolute highlight of my day.
I love that Coyote Valley protects important flood plain that's essential in wet winters.
